Polymorph Updates

 Some news on the Polymorph Project:

A Proof of concept, limited to 500k objects (a large library can cover up to 50 million objects) will be ready by the end of January covering:

- Conceptual entities and data quality domains;

- Metadata Source importing and classification(taxonomy);

- Direct Data Source documentation (using system tables);

- Analysis of the physical objects, to uncover deviations from the enterprise domain and suggest corrections;

- Metadata Queries, live data access, and data set creation, catalog update;

- Core reporting;

The POC will be created for SQL Server as a Windows application, self-executable(how I miss compilers..)

Anyone interested in testing the POC let me know - comment here or send me a note.

My book is also being reviewed to accommodate the new Polymorph extensions.

After the POC validation, new features will be added such as: New Object Types,Metadata attribute extensions, ETL and use of other sources such as Oracle, Teradata, MySQL and Postgres, and possibly Spark and Cassandra. If you have suggestions for other sources, let me know as well. I expect to have Polymorph as method and as a tool to be fully operational by the end of June.
